Haj and Charter, Sensational Saturday - 2.JPG

For many, spending a Saturday riding a Harley Davidson and then flying on a B747 aircraft would be stuff dreams are made of.

Bearing the theme ‘Ride on Harley, Fly in Jumbo’, the dreams of some 300 underprivileged and terminally ill children actually came true at MAS Charter’s ‘Sensational Saturday’ event organized by our unit, Hajj & Charter which is a part of our Corporate Social Responsibility Program.

Haj and Charter, Sensational Saturday - 5.JPG

The day began with the children from Asrama Damai Kuang; Rumah Anak Yatim As-Shakur, Bandar Tasik Putri; Persatuan Anak Yatim Kg Medan and House of Joy, Puchong being transported from their respective homes to Naza HDKL in PJ early in the morning. They were then escorted by 150 Harley Davidson bikes worth RM25 million, 20 PDRM bikes and 15 BMW bikes to the MAS Engineering Complex A at Subang Airport. We had our MD/CEO, Tengku Dato’ Azmil, MAS employees, media representatives and proud sponsors to greet and celebrate the momentous occasion with the children.

After a pillion ride around the MAS Complex, the excited children then boarded a Malaysia Airlines Boeing 747-400 for a short flight to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

Involved in this event were also Harley Davidson KL, Polis Diraja Malaysia Petaling Jaya, LSG Skychef, Anika Dimensi SB, Angkatan Tentera Malaysia and many others.

We have been organizing CSR events such as this since 2003 with ‘Sensational Saturday’ being the biggest. Last year’s event was themed ‘A Night to Remember’ which involved 150 children who rode on the Harleys and flew on an Airbus A330. Back in 2008, MAS Charters organized the Remote Control Airshow followed by the Msportbike Bike Ride event in 2007.

Our ‘Sensational Saturday’ event has made its entry into the Malaysia Book of Records under the category of the ‘largest single brand big bike gathering for a charity event.

Merchants of Bollywood.jpg

The Merchants of Bollywood

25 July - I went to watch a spectacular event, “THE MERCHANTS OF BOLLYWOOD” at Istana Budaya Kuala Lumpur. A musical theatre featuring an array of songs from Bollywood hit movies. The Merchants of Bollywood tells the tale of Ayesha Merchant, who is trained by her grandfather in Indian Classical dance, but is determined to make a name for herself in Bollywood, much to her grandfather’s disapproval.

It was a superb show with lots of energy, colors and upbeat rhythms. The dancers, a world class lot, were beautifully dressed in the most vibrant colors that command an immediate attention. The dances were well choreographed, with such delicate movements and poised. There was never a dull moment!!

What is interesting to see was, the audience comprised of people from all walks of life, who had continuously applauded and dance to the rhythm of the music, which at some point was hypnotizing.

I was glad to be there!!! By the way, did you know that Bollywood produces 800 movies a year with 15 million tickets sold each month?? So I’ve been told…

MAStari 2009 1.JPG

MAStari 2009 2.JPG

MAStari 2009 3.JPG

MAStari 2009 4.JPG

Pesawat Slide1.JPG

Oh! Finally, it’s Tuesday, 26th May ‘09 – today is all mine.. !! If you weren’t there, here’s what you missed !

*Pix above is the stage area for the mini-gigs. All set !

Pesawat Slide 2.png

During Light Refreshments.

I’m so excited to be one of the guest at the Mirage video launching as well as watching both Pesawat and Bunkface mini-gigs.

At 2pm, the crowd started to move in. More than 100 fans were here in B2. Everyone is excited. While having refreshments, I managed to snap some photos with the Bunkface members. They are fun & friendly and easy to get along with their fans !

Pesawat Slide 3.png

One of my favourite photo cos they look really cool !

Pesawat Slide 4.png

Me and the Bunkface vocalist.

Pesawat Slide 5.png

Onboard B777 Aircraft.

Now we are onboard and ready to take off with Pesawat ! The Mirage video is unique and simple, kinda funky and definitely suit the aviation theme.
I’ve got few interesting info’s to share about the short video preview of both bands :

Have you ever wonder why Pesawat choose “Pesawat” as their band name? They said that the name was chosen because it’s like a symbol of a transporter, to carry their music from one place to another, thus be able to expand their music in a fastest way.

As for Bunkface, the hardest situation they’ve ever encountered in their career was making people accept their music at the early stage, and because of that they need to produce great songs from time to time.

Pesawat Slide 6.png

Hey, this is the goody bags I received onboard i.e. both bands Promotional CD Packs...

Pesawat Slide 7.png

...plus other cool freebies from Channel V !

Pesawat Slide 8.png

The Performance

The Performance Pesawat – Performing 3 songs: Excuse Me, Rasional Emosional and Mirage.

Pesawat Slide 9.png

They look cool, low-key yet skillful in experimenting their music..that’s what makes me proud of J

Pesawat Slide 10.png

Honestly..Dynamic performance !

Pesawat Slide 11.png

Bunkface – By performing Bunk Anthem, Revolusi and Situasi, this 4 youngster performed like a ‘peel fresh’ sounds. No kidding..Truly energetic.

Pesawat Slide 12.png

There’s chemistry between them, their performance blends well with the music, trust me.

Pesawat Slide 13.png

Love this moment, the guitarist go down from stage and keep on rocking !

Pesawat Slide 14.png

The rockstar in action !

Pesawat Slide 15.png

Attitude and Style !

Pesawat Slide 16.png

It’s an unusual experience for me meeting up with such bands in KLIA. Some may say that our local indie-band sound-alike Greenday, or maybe The Killers and such ?

But, that’s not the point, as long as they have great attitude and talents – their followers will easily get the positive impact then. Long way to go Pesawat and Bunkface – proud of you guys.

With the kind assistance of En Mohd Nasir Abdullah, AGM, Heavy Maintenance, Engineering & Maintenance, Hangar 3 Subang who approached Ungku Perani at KLIA Hangar who arranged for the STAR TV to do the shooting. Ungku Perani’s team was very helpful and showcases our MH-Malaysian Hospitality. The PESAWAT group and the crew truly enjoyed throughout their shooting experienced at the Hangar where not many people out there could see personally the aircraft maintenance.

The following posts contains the event report of the 1st May 2009 "A Night to Remember" carrying the theme "Ride on Harley, Fly on Airbus", organised by the Head of Malaysia Airlines MASCHARTER Division.

Events such as this one are normally held twice a year, one on a large scale, another on a less grand, low key level, both with always cooperation from other enthusiasts and cooperative and charitable Corporate bodies. All events involves children.

This event was co-sponsored by Harley Davidson Kuala Lumpur, Anika Dimensi Sdn Bhd, LSG SKYchef.

Support for the event came from Polis DiRaja Malaysia and the Harley Davidson Riders from various Chapters around Klang Valley.

Malaysia's premier aviation enthusiast website "MalaysianWings.net" also sponsored the event and provided a network of photographers during the proceedings.

The story below has been divided into 4 parts:

Part 1 - The Departure from HDKL
Part 2 - The Road Convoy
Part 3 - The Fun at Mas Complex
Part 4 - The Flight on the Airbus

Enjoy reading and I look forward to your participation on the next event.

PART 1 - The Departure

1 Airbus, 2 Videographers 4 BMW Camerabikes, 4 Buses, 12 photographers 20 Stewardesses, 25 Police Outriders, 80 Harleys, 180 Orphans........great weather......precision timings.....WHAT A NIGHT.

It was certainly a night to remember.

The theme : " Ride on Harley, Fly on Airbus"

A night to remember 1.jpg

My initial simple presentation for HOG to champion the event did not work, primarily because this clashed with the HOG rally and members have already shipped their bikes to Sabah, leaving most without a ride. I made the decision to just go ahead and if Harleys are hard to come by, there's the BMW Club or even the Sportsbikers of Awana, all of whom will give their right arm to lend support to a good cause. But, in true spirit of brotherhood, Harley riders from various groups joined hands and eventually a list of 60 bikes grew to about 80. We initially asked for just 4 outriders from the Police, but they turned up in full force of 25 bikes.

After some serious hard planning, and detailed coordination, the event became reality beginning at 1700 at HDKL. Bikes started trickling in until the numbers was achieved. The Police bikes came at 1830.  The Airbus from Beirut arrived at Subang at 1845. The buses carrying the orphans came at 1900. Dinner was served at 1915. Prayers was at 1930.

Divided into 4 groups bearing Red, Green, Blue and Yellow colors, the convoy left HDKL and became a train of vehicles stretching 3/4 kilometers long, leaving HDKL at 2010 travelling through the Federal Highway, Kerinchi and Pencala Link, onwards to the LDP, NKVE and finally to the MAS Complex at Subang where tents, fun, food and one Airbus A 330 was waiting.

After a short Doa and an opening speech by the Head of MasCharter,  food was served and the bike rides for the orphans began. And the kids were given a time of their lives riding on the Harleys. They were continously entertained by the antics of Cha Cha the Clown.

After the bike ride, the kids boarded the Airbus for a flight to KLIA where they were sent back to their homes.

WHAT A NIGHT.

Credit roll will come later.

Now for some photos.

The Tshirts for the Children were sent the day before by the Manchaster staff.

 MASenidaya & Bangra performers

We were called in to perform for the 2nd time for TV9. This time in Sunway Lagoon! Excitement running through our heads because we were all thinking what we are going to do after the performance – we are going for some R&R. But fun time aside, there was work to do first.

When we heard the news from TV9, all the group members were very happy. TV3 told us that they were happy with our earlier performance on Nasi Lemak and Kopi O on TV9.

Our fun time in Sunway Lagoon

So, we went on performing on Live TV. We did not have any problem to do this because I must say that we have been through this before. We performed and sang songs in different languages. The shoot took about 2 to 3 minutes and it was spontaneous.  We were like professional musicians.

Each group member was very proud to do this as we represent our company, Malaysia Airlines and MASenidaya. We are looking forward for more performances.

Check-out the photos we spent with TV9 artistes and our fun time in Sunway Lagoon.

I am sharing 5 points for you to know about Sunway Lagoon.

  • The Sunway Lagoon Theme Park is excellent fun for both kids and ADULTS.
  • It is located behind the Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall. By taxi, it will take about 30 minutes from downtown KL.
  • The park comprises of 5 “areas;” Wild West Amusement Park, Water Park, Wildlife Park, Extreme Park and Scream Park.
  • The best thing about Sunway Lagoon is the wave pool. For beginners who wants to try out surfing, I suggest you go to Sunway Lagoon.
  • My advise: Always be Young At Heart and try out every ride in Sunway Lagoon!

Part 1 - Amsterdam

As some of you might already know, I recently represented Malaysia at the New Skool Rules Hip Hop/Rnb conference in Rotterdam, Netherlands. When my manager, Yaniz Merican told me the good news I was elated, because this meant that we would be flying into Amsterdam!

The 12½ hour flight on Malaysia Airlines went by really quickly as we were attended to by the friendly staff on board MH016. I had more than sufficient leg-room space and the excellent in-flight entertainment kept me happy and contented throughout the length of the flight. Not to forget - I manage to catch some well deserved shut-eye!

Joe Flizzow 2.png

On board flight MH016 en route to Amsterdam for the NSR Convention!

We finally arrived safely at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and took the train to Central Station which is situated directly opposite the Victoria Park Plaza. After checking into our hotel, we headed straight to the Van Gogh Museum. I was in awe of Starry Night and the Rembrandts were simply amazing!

Joe Flizzow 3.png

Fresh off the flight at Central Station

We also took the opportunity to visit the Rijksmuseum which is the largest museum in Amsterdam. Parts of the building were under renovation but we still managed to get a look at many interesting exhibits that were on display. The building that houses this museum was an architectural marvel overlooking the many canals that can be found in the city.

Joe Flizzow 4.png

In front of Rijksmuseum

I was particularly impressed with the elevated sense of the urban culture the city of Amsterdam enjoys. A lot of people on the streets were clearly influenced by the urban movement and you could see fantastic pieces of graffiti all over the city.

Check out the Air Yeezy's!

Since we were in Amsterdam, it was only right that we did the obligatory canal boat tour! The tour brought us through the many inner-city canals and harbors. We got a glimpse of the many boathouses moored along the canals. Did you know that there are now boathouses that have been converted to hotels that you can stay in? I would love to give it a try one day.

Joe Flizzow 6.png

Our stay in Amsterdam was further made more comfortable and convenient with the presence of a fellow countryman, my friend and ex-break dancer Achaap, who is currently residing in Amsterdam. He doubled up as our tour guide and being somewhat of a local himself, he brought us to places not usually frequented by tourists which really gave me a good perspective of the sort of the local lifestyle in Amsterdam.

Part 2 - Rotterdam

After two days in Amsterdam (which literally flew by!), we were off to Rotterdam for the main reason for our tour - the New Skool Rules Convention. We were joined by fellow Bum Squad DJs Phat Phillies from Croatia, Crisco Kidd from Houston and Bum Squad President Latin Prince.

I felt proud to be the only Malaysian and Asian representing at the convention. Being the only person rocking the Air Yeezy’s definitely helped too! Especially whilst in the presence of legendary hip-hop icons such as MC Shan, DJ Tony Touch, Fredro Starr, Bishop Lamont and hundreds of other movers and shakers in the hip-hop world.

The NSR convention was held in 4 different locations, the main one being in the Maassilo in Rotterdam South. Other locations included the Factory 010, Baroeg and LCC’t Klooster. We had to commute between these locations to participate in the various activities.

Being interviewed by Vibe Magazine! Watch out for that interview.

It was certainly a global gathering of the hip-hop community and we had a good interacting and networking session amongst each other. The workshops and talks that I attended really inspired me with a renewed and refreshed outlook towards hip-hop as a culture, an industry and a business. I will definitely be applying some of the things I learned at NSR to my day-to-day undertakings!

Joe Flizzow 13.png

With Yaniz, my manager

After the conference ended, it was finally time to say goodbye to the Netherlands. We flew back using MAS and although it had only been 6 days since we left Malaysia for Amsterdam, it was certainly a great feeling to be greeted by the friendly smiles of the MAS staff as we boarded our flight home. I now understand why the award-winning MAS cabin crew is considered to be the best in the world. The warmth and sincerity shown towards me and my tour-mates by the MAS staff and cabin crew was certainly reflective of their “Malaysian Hospitality” ethos and made the long journey between Kuala Lumpur and Amsterdam (and back!) a most memorable and pleasant one!

Joe Flizzow 14.png

With the lovely stewardesses on MH016!

Shout out to all those NSR peeps and also a special shout out to Malaysia Airlines!

One Love!

Lion Dance Troupe 1.jpg

Malaysia Airlines Golden Lion Dance Troop started in 1983. When we first started, we had 20 members from various races. To date, our troupe consists of 40-odd members.

Lion Dance Troupe 2.jpg

Going for the fortune

I can state it personally because as an instructor, I am a non-Chinese myself and I would say that we are indeed the first multi-racial lion dance troupe in Malaysia.

Lion Dance Troupe 3.jpg

It is important for us in a team to scout for talents and I have always encouraged people from other races and genders in Malaysia Airlines to join us.

The Lion Dance is a very symbolic performance as signifies prosperity, harmony, success, wealth, health and especially happiness. Just like what it brings to one home or business, we the Malaysia Airlines troupe feels the same the way being in a team! We have built a strong relationship amongst us. One of the requirements is to have a passion and discipline in being in this team. It is not an easy task for each member in the team as everyone involved whether they are on the drums or performing, each drum beat and movement has to synchronize in tandem. The end result is quite amazing to see my team keeping up with one another and you can see the relationship that we built over the years have strengthen our abilities to do the best.

Receiving a visit from Sultan of Perak

We’ve have performed in so many formal events, house-warming and weddings throughout the years. We’ve had so many experiences both spiritual and cultural. I will leave the spiritual part behind but most importantly I am proud to say that the Malaysia Airlines Golden Lion Dance troupe has come a long way.

By: Md Salleh Ismail (Inflight Services - Cabin Crew Line Operations)

MASenidaya was formed in August 1986 as one of the 22 sports, social, culture and leisure sub-committees.  Prior to that the Company took the initiative to form its own cultural dance group for its corporate promotional events held in Malaysia and Overseas.  The word MASenidaya means "MAS" for Malaysia Airlines, "Seni" means arts and "Daya" means creative and voluntary effort.

MASenidaya now has about 60 members, consisting of staff from various divisions and ranks, mostly based in Kuala Lumpur.  As they are full-time employees, trainings are held on voluntary basis after office hours and during weekends.  Within MASenidaya, there are various music and performing arts groups such as "Musik Asli" (Traditional Music Ensemble), "Kompang" (Hand-drum Ensemble), "Gamelan" Ensemble, Traditional Dance group and "Dikir Barat" group.  Apart from MAS employees, trainings are conducted for children of staff with the assistance from staff of the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage, Malaysia.

Since 1987, MASenidaya has participated in various MAS corporate events and CIOFF festivals which is eld internationally.

MASenidaya once again performed well at the recently concluded 44th Billingham International Folklore Festival 2008 in the United Kingdom.

The group performance captivated the audience, participating countries and festival organizer.  Even the Council of Stockton-on-Tess, Borough Council, Mayor and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. John Fletcher were awed with the costumes and performances of the group.

MASenidaya-Billingham-1.jpg

The Street Parade and Opening Ceremony was covered by local TV stations and newspapers.  MASenidaya, was introduced as Malaysia Airlines’ Dance Group - they are cultural and music enthusiasts who are also full-time employees. Evening Gazette’s reporter, Mike Blackburn wrote a full page article of MASenidaya and Malaysia Airlines. (Read all about it via the blog site, http://www.gazettelive.co.uk/news/teesside-news/2008/07/29/dance-special-is-taking-wing-at-the-billingham-international-folklore-festival-84229-21423078/). The festival gave us the opportunity to fly the Malaysia Airlines and Jalur Gemilang flags high.

MASenidaya-Billingham-2.jpg

MASenidaya-Billingham-3.jpg

Group liaison officer Susan Taylor wrote this to our team:

“MASenidaya, I like to thank you for a great week and for introducing me to a group of people who know what time keeping is. You’ve allowed me to see what the festival is like when people do what they are asked to do, with a smile on their face – whatever the weather!  It has been nothing but pleasure working with you and I think most of the volunteers agree with that.  Have a safe journey home.”

By: Azman Ismail (MASenidaya)

  • Anugerah Cermerlang Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Rimau 2005.

 1.         Ahmad Qusyairi Bin Azman - 14 tahun MAS

 2.         Nur Halimaton Saadiah Bt Razali - 12 tahun MAS

 3.         Batrisya Reiyahin Bt Zulkepley - 12 tahun MAS

 4.         Nurulbahiyah Bt Zulkepley - 9  tahun MAS

 5.         Bussaiyana Nur Eiman Bt Zulkepley - 8  tahun MAS

 6.         Putra Azrul Syazwan Bin Azman - 11 tahun MAS

 7.         Putra Aziz Qayyim Bin Azman - 10 tahun MAS

 8.      Muhammad Amiq Amirul Adi Iskandar - 11 tahun  Non MAS

 9.        Nurul Aini Athirah Bt Adi Iskanda - 9 tahun  Non MAS

10.     Aniq Syazwan Shah Bin Jazlan - 13 tahun Non MAS

11.     Aniq Syazrin Shah Bin Jaslan - 12 tahun Non MAS

12.     Afiq Junaidi Bin Jaslan - 11 tahun Non MAS

13.     Aniq Jafni Bin Jaslan - 8  tahun Non MAS

14.     Denial Akmar Doran - 11 tahun Non MAS

15.     Damiah Akmar Doran - 9 tahun Non MAS

Sekian.

By: LS Charles Cabrini Armstrong (Inflight Services)

theebam-gives-back Balloons-08-071-300x224[1].jpg

Theebam Inflight has its roots way back to 1996 when a small group of Indian Cabin Crew got together to organise an evening of get-together to coincide with Deepavali, the Festival of Lights. This successful gathering was initiated by a Flight Steward.

theebam-gives-back Clown-08-113-300x224[1].jpg

With that, Theebam Inflight Nite was launched for the very first time in 1997 in conjunction with Deepavali " The Festival of Lights" and this will be our 12th Year Annivesary celebrations. Our 1st Theebam night was attended by about 50 guests.

theebam-gives-back Gifts-08-123-300x224[1].jpg

This yearly event brings together Cabin Crew, Techinal Crew, Pilots, Staff of Inflight Services & Flight Operations and Family and Friends of Theebam. Over the past years we have grown from being amature performers to professional entertainers with 80% of the production is carried out by our very own flight crew. It is now a function which is looked after by all Crew regardless of race, religion and colour as they come dressed in various colours and traditional out-fits.

The original aim of Theebam is to bring hope and light to the lives of the less fortunate. In view of this and in the spirit of sharing and caring, our organizing committee has now over the past 11 years (1997-2007) contributed a total sum of almost RM220,000.00 to Welfare Homes, The Aged and Under Privileged Children and staff of Inflight Services and Flight Operations who have no other means of support in their times of need.

theebam-gives-back Meal-08-001-300x224[1].jpg

All of this has been made possible, THANKS to the magnanimous support we get, whom we regard as "Friends of Theebam". Over the years we have grown from a humble beginning to what we are now. We have been working as a team in pursuing our relentess goal in the name of charity.

However, this year Theebam Inflight Nite has been postponed to a later date in 2009 reason being the current Economy of the country has brought us a better understanding of our urgent needs and priorities.

As to our yearly Charity work and projects, all systems goes. We are currenly hosting about 15 school children under the Theebam Out Reach program and they are doing well till today.

Together with that we the committee have decided to take some 50 children out for a Pre-Deepavali lunch and play host to them in the spirit of the coming Festival of Lights and we called it "Theebam Gives Back" which was held at the Rumah Juara Glad Tiding in Petaling Jaya, Selangor last sunday 19th October 2008.

Rumah Juara is a non-profit home set up in to meet the needs of the orphans, abused and under privileged children. The children were hosted to lunch, entertained by Aljo the Clown, Deepavali Ang Pow's  (good-will) and a Deepavali Gift's was given to all the children.

Theebam Inflight wishes all blog readers A Happy Deepavali @ Diwali (The Festival of Lights). May this Festival of Lights bring you and your loves ones lots of love, joy, peace and happiness always........

1st Football.jpg

It was just two months ago I found myself on board MH002 to London with my Team of Charter Crew. We were positioning there as passengers to operate a Charter flight for Chelsea Football team. A B747-400 aircraft will be flown empty from KUL and the Chelsea FC members will board the aircraft at Gatwick for an 11 hour flight to Guangzhou. Their Asian Tour will see them flying MH to Guangzhou, Macau, Kuala Lumpur, before going to Moscow and onwards to London. As I settled down on the long positioning flight to London, I reflected on the few previous football tours I had the privilege to operate as the Crew in Charge……

To write about all the Football Charters would be a little too taxing given that this is my first foray into ‘blogging’, so I felt that I should just centre on my experiences with the two top EPL teams. Manchester United FC and Chelsea FC.

I cannot begin to imagine the background work done by the Hajj and Charter Staff to ensure the exacting needs and requirements of the team are met, but there is no doubt in my mind that all the details will be in place as this is not the first time premier football teams are flying MH. This too is not the first football charter flight I will be operating, as I have done flights for Real Madrid, Barcelona FC as well as Manchester United.

footbal-2-300x226.jpg

File picture: The Real Madrid team in an MH A330 in flight from Madrid to Kunming during their Asia Tour 2003, just after they signed on David Beckham, MH flew them from Madrid to Kunming, Shanghai, Seoul and Osaka before flying them home to Madrid.

Discussions between MasCharter personnel and the Team representatives  normally takes place many weeks prior to the actual flight. All areas from contract price to arrival and departure formalities are agreed upon, and it is these preparatory work that allows us, the flight attendants to do our work on board unhindered and free from distraction.

The Crew normally begins to hear wind of such flights at this preparation stage, but most of us normally will keep our excitement in check as we know that these kinds of flights are keenly fought over by the major airlines and nothing is certain until the contract is signed. Then again, even after signing we can only hope to be rostered for the flight as the Charter office only chooses F/As who have performed to an excellent level on previous flights of similar profile.

Traditionally, the official awarding of these flights are anchored by a highly publicized signing ceremony. Both the Manchester United and the Chelsea contracts are of no exception.

Head of Hajj and Charter Capt Nik Huzlan  at the signing ceremony in Hong Kong.  With him were Dr Amin Khan, MH GM for HKG then, Malcolm Thorpe, Sports Director for IMG and Sir Bobby Charlton, representing Manchester United.

With the pricing and contract terms and conditions sealed, MasCharters  begins to work in earnest to ensure the best of Malaysian Hospitality are laid out

Here, two Charter F/As are showing the headrest covers, customized menucards and also the special sleeping suits meant for the players and team members of the Manchester United Asia Tour 2005.

The aircraft with the customized headrest covers printed with the tour logo just prior to departure. This was for the Manchester United Asia Tour 2000.

Even the aircraft that assigned to the Charter flight was given a distinctive marking, having the Tour logo on the fuselage. Seen below is the B747-400 that flew the Manchester United team for their Asia Tour in 2005. These and other specific arrangement gave the crew a sense of belonging  and teamwork when on duty and also during  nightstops throughout the tour.

dsc_0300-gamelan-anak-anak-mas-300x200[1].jpg
