A press conference was held on Friday morning, 02 April 2010, where Wyclef Jean and Fatboy Slims were there to talk about what the crowd at the Malaysia Grand Prix Concert will expect from their performance.

We attended this press conference as this is part of our overall involvement with Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix. Also, our MASkargo team brought in 6 classic FI cars as well as the artistes and their entourages traveled with us onboard.

Together with DIGI who is the main sponsor, we had to be there as one of the sponsors. AGM Sales, Malaysia and Brunei, Azman Ahmad presented to Wyclef Jean a memento of the A380 aircraft.

To check out the fun, we had our staff to attend the FI event. We gave away tickets to our staff through a contest we organized internally. Around 15 staff won tickets to watch FI upfront. Cool heh!

We managed to capture Qi and Cheryl Samad on video talking about their travel experiences with Malaysia Airlines.

Both our Destinasi Bajet Jom MAS hosts share what they like most about travelling, what comfort they must have when travelling and their views on what is the one thing of service that is important when travelling on flight.

Their videos were recorded during the launch our online travel portal (www.MAStraveller.com) held last Thursday. Both Qi and Cheryl were there to present "Destinasi Bajet Jom MAS!" travelogue on the site.

Shoes!  Shoes!  Don’t we ladies love shoes!

I was really shocked when I bumped into Jimmy Choo in our Malaysia Airlines Academy. I thought to myself “This is my opportunity to tell him how much I love his shoes and ask for a photograph.” I did just that – ran up to him and ask to take a photograph.

I think he was extremely shocked to see me standing there asking for his photograph. He was very nice and accepted my request.

FYI - He was there with his friend to see business opportunities as what he had told the crowd who didn’t want to miss taking photos with him.

It was really great to see him. I used to drop-by at his boutique in KL as well as in London. Meeting the man in person is really something I will always remember. Got the photo for it!!!
