Cabin Crew Sports Council/MH Juaras organized a Cabin Crew Ping-Pong Tournament 2010 in April 2010. The event took place in Kelab Sukan MAS building in SZB Hub. It turned out to be a successful event.
A total of 50 people turned up as early as 0730hrs at KSM that morning and 30 players registered for the game. Breakfast and lunch were sponsored by MH Juara CCLOPS. The food was catered by MHUB Caterers, a five star caterer in the region. Everyone enjoyed the Nasi Lemak with telor mata and condiments. Tea and coffee were also provided.
The game was set in round-robin style with winner and losers pools. Nine teams competed to win the ancient game of fast-ball. The logistics and secretariat were assisted by the Malaysia Airlines Table-Tennis Club (MATTC). The game started with a welcome speech by our MATTC Chairman, En. Azmi Azizan, AGM for MAS Property.
 
The tournament was made loud and clear by our fun filled MC for the event, LSS Rozania who kept the game on the move with lots of announcements. Everyone who took part enjoyed themselves immensely. All the players displayed great skill and “art of war’ through-out the tournament. They performed like professionals and amazed the MATTC officials. It looks like this is going to be a yearly event. Besides performance, everyone looked good with the specially designed t-shirt for this tournament. The t-shirt is also sponsored by MH Juara CCLOPS.
Chidren were also entertained with balloons shaped and designed by CS Ginger Lim, to their liking. GM of Inflight Services Puan Hayati Dato Ali also dropped by to support and cheered for the players. She also enjoyed watching the players in action displaying their talents in ping-pong.
Lunch was served at 1230hrs. Fried rice with fried chicken, fruits and orange cordial were just in time to fill the hungry crowd. Although, we had Champions and runners-ups, everyone was a winner. The event was smooth and joyful. Thanks to the spouses and children whom came to support.
A memento was presented to MATTC Chairman, En. Azmi and his team for their support given during the tournament. The tournament was made possible by individuals who had committed their precious time and great deal of effort. It is worth to mention their names here:
